Terms of Service

By creating a Dreamer account or installing the Dreamer Capture browser extension, you agree to these terms.

1. The service

Dreamer is a personal-productivity tool. It is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We don't promise zero downtime, no data loss, or bug-free behavior — though we work hard for all three.

2. Your account

  • You must be at least 13 years old.
  • You're responsible for keeping your password and API tokens secret.
  • You're responsible for the content you store. Don't use Dreamer to store anything you don't have a right to (other people's private data, copyrighted material you don't own, etc.).
  • You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Danger zone.

3. Acceptable use

Don't:

  • Use Dreamer to harm, harass, or impersonate others.
  • Attempt to break the security of the service, scrape the database, or attack other users.
  • Resell access to your account, or build a commercial wrapper around the AI assistant.
  • Use the bookmark scraper or any other server-side feature to fetch content you have no right to access.

4. The AI assistant

The Ask AI feature is powered by third-party models (currently Claude 3.5 Haiku, via OpenRouter). It can be wrong, outdated, or hallucinatory. Do not rely on its answers for medical, legal, financial, or safety-critical decisions. You are responsible for verifying anything important.

5. Browser extension

The Dreamer Capture extension only sends data to the dashboard URL you configure. If you configure it to point at a server you don't control, the operator of that server can read everything you send.

6. Data ownership

Your content belongs to you. We claim no ownership of anything you store in Dreamer. You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license only to process your content as necessary to run the service (store it, render it back to you, include it in AI prompts you initiate).

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dreamer's total liability to you for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose (which is zero for free accounts). We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

8. Termination

You can stop using Dreamer at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that put the service or other users at risk. If we terminate your account, we'll give you a reasonable chance to export your data first, unless the termination is for cause (security, abuse, legal compulsion).

9. Changes to these terms

If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date and notify you by email. Continued use after that constitutes acceptance.
